Hey again, everyone. I’m so grateful that y’all were able to help me out so much last month, but sadly April is another month and I am once again in need of a litte financial assistance to help me pay for things like groceries, gas, bills, therapy, etc. I am an unemployed trans woman in conservative-as-fuck Orange County, California trying to manage my mental health issues and just fucking get by from day to day. I had to quit my previous job due to constant harassment and transphobic bullying from customers and coworkers alike. I’m trying to raise around $600 but literally anything that you can give would mean the world to me. hi guys its cyan. hate to do it but on may 29th i got into a car accident where the other party did a hit & run. my car has been rendered undriveable at the moment. im still waiting for calls back on whether or not theyve identified the other driver / what insurance wants from me so that i can proceed with getting an estimate on my car / etc etc. pics of the damage to contextualize the situation at hand here:

Our House is Unsafe, Help Us Gain a New Start

My name is Ross and I'm the oldest child of my family, with whom I currently live with. Our household consists of me, my widowed mother, and my three younger siblings, the youngest being 16. My dad died suddenly in his sleep November of 2021 and since then we have struggled pretty much every day to keep ourselves alive and housed.

Our house, my childhood home, is a 3 bedroom mobile home built in 1990 and for as long as I can remember, it has always been hoarded and falling apart. Over the past few years, we've made significant progress in reducing the hoard and giving us space to live in, but still this is a 30+ year mobile home that is damaged beyond our capability to repair.

Problems that exist currently in our house include:

No working HVAC

Half of the house has no power

Weakened floors due to water and pet damage

Outdoor siding rotting due to plant growth and water damage

Major leaks in the covered porch's roof, causing immense water damage and mold growth

Drywall, ceiling, and flooring damage (our entire kitchen's floor is just plywood now due to damage)

So many other issues that I've honestly lost track

We, of course, originally planned to slowly fix whatever issues had come up, but our plans changed when we came across a deal to purchase a brand new 5 bedroom mobile home for a discounted price. Not only does a new house such as this give us a safe, secure, and clean place to live, but the additional rooms ensure that all of us have our own bedroom and that we have more space to live and work. Currently, me, my mom, and my sister all share the master bedroom, so obviously the concept of all of us having our own privacy is leading us to make this decision more.

Right now, we currently have $2,000 put towards the down payment for the new house, out of a $9,000 down payment. We are able to make payments early and we expected to be able to put money down every month, until my mom's job fucked her over and didn't schedule her for 6 weeks. This greatly put us behind not just on payments for the new house, but also bills and getting my mom's car insured and registered, as it's now a year overdue for both.

I'll do anything for this chance, anything if it means that my family and I can finally have a home we deserve, a home my dad would've wanted for us.

I'm desperate, we're all desperate, for a chance to live normally for the first time in our lives. Living in squalor is all I've known and the opportunity to escape it is honestly the only thing keeping me going right now.

I don't know what I'd do if I'm forced to live in this shithole another year, let alone for the rest of my life. So, please, if you have the means I'd forever be grateful if you donate. If you can't donate, then please share this. It would mean everything to me.

Help Me Keep My House

So, as of the making of this post, we still have to pay property taxes on the house we inherited from grandma. Of late, I started making more money, but I'm still short on funds. I need to pay as much of the property tax as possible before June 30th, which is when it goes to collections. If we can’t pay, it could lead to eviction and sale of the house to the county. Please, if you can send any money my way, it would be greatly appreciated. Every little bit helps.

hi friends i really hate to do this again when the whole world is in turmoil but i really am not sure where else to turn to. last year was incredibly rough on my family since my mom had a stroke and my grandmother died. and ever since the holidays especially we have been struggling even more financially since work was slower for me and i'm the only one supporting the household since both my parents are disabled. so if you could please share this and/or spare even the tiniest amount, i will use every cent to try to catch up on all the bills and late fees and everything we're drowning in at the moment

Urgent help needed!

Okay so I know that I’ve been relying on the tumblr community a lot over the last couple of months for financial help since I quit my shitty abusive retail job (where I was routinely subject to sexual harassment and transphobic bullying by both customers and coworkers). The gig work hasn’t been working out for me (seemed good at first but then the algorithm just started giving me fewer and fewer deliveries to the point where I’m barely breaking even or sometimes even losing money going to work). I’ve sold off most of my comic, manga and dvd collections already and all of my physical copies of video games. In addition to my normal bills (groceries, gas, car insurance, etc) I’ve got my car registration due this month. It’s $200 if I can get it paid this month and closer to $300 if I have to do it after this month at which point my tags will be expired :/ please, any little bit at all helps!

so instead of a $300 deposit like we had been under the impression of, we need to pay $700 dollars if we want to move in (not including that month's rent)

it is extremely important to me that we can move out soon. we are currently living with an extremely volatile and abusive roommate who flies off the handle at the slightest provocation or even lack thereof. it is to the point where i am drinking every night to cope. i have had to talk my boyfriend down from suicide multiple times due to their treatment of him. we feel trapped in our own home.
